IMPUTED RIGHTEOUSNESS

The commonly heard false gospel of evangelical religion implies that God engages in the PRETENSE of "imputing" righteousness where it does not and cannot exist! And it deceives its followers into believing the LIE that FREE GRACE is unconditional, and that TRUE FAITH can exist without works!

What then is the real meaning of "imputed righteousness without works"? (Romans 4:6)

The REAL Gospel says that God will deal with SOME sinners in the same way as he would a righteous man.

How does God deal with a righteous man?

Same way as He did with Jesus! i.e. Jesus had never broken the Law. So, Jesus had never incurred a death penalty for sin. There was NOTHING recorded against Him in God's "books"!

"IMPUTED righteousness" means that SOME sinners are pardoned and no longer under sentence of the "second death" at the Judgement. Their record will be made just as clear as that of a righteous man. i.e. As if they had never sinned! Their sins will never be mentioned to them again! (Psalm 103:12, Ezekiel 33:14-16)

However, we must never forget that this "imputed righteousness" which clears the record against them, is based on a "two way" CONDITIONAL COVENANT between God and those who are pardoned!

The Gospel does not ignore sin! Nor does it confer a licence to continue sinning! (Romans 6:1- 2)

Instead, it offers forgiveness ONLY to those whose response to the Gospel, (FAITH) produces a GENUINE repentance. And the quality of a man's repentance is shown for what it really is, by the WORKS that accompany belief in the Gospel. (Acts 26:20)

Receipt of any promised future inheritance is also conditional on final VICTORY over sin! (Revelation 3:21)

Without the sort of FAITH that produces genuine repentance, there can be no "imputed righteousness". (Pardon from the penalty of sin) Nor can there be any REAL victory over sin!

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,

who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."

(Romans 8:1 KJV)

"The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness,

goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance..... And they that are Christ's

have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."

(Galatians 5:22-25 KJV)
